The Viking Surgeons Association Annual Conference hosted by the College of Surgeons of Edinburgh to be held from 15 – 17 September this year. I have attached the flyer and brochure in this email for your information.
The conference is targeted at general and rural surgeons and I wanted to check if you may be in the position to promote this to the NZAGS members? I will be grateful for your response.

The Viking Surgeons Association (VSA) Annual Conference 2020 hosted by The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh’s Faculty of Remote and Rural Health Care (FRRH) will take place as three, one-hour long Webinars on the evenings of Tuesday 15th to Thursday 17th September 2020.
Each one-hour webinar will include topics under the headings ‘Trauma in rural areas’, ‘Tips and Tricks for the Rural General Surgeon’ and ‘How do we train a Rural General Surgeon?’. The aim is to provide a program of interest to Rural General Surgeons in the UK, trainees in general surgery, and the many Rural Surgeons practicing throughout the world.
The Viking Surgeons Association is an association of Remote and Rural Surgeons working in Rural General Hospitals in Highlands and Islands of Scotland, rural areas of Northern Ireland, Isle of Man and Iceland. Membership has also included surgeons from the Faroes and coastal areas of England in the past and is open to Remote and Rural surgeons in any geographical location. Due to the virtual nature of this years conference it is hoped that the Vikings Surgeons can extend their reach to those further afield.
Delegates can register for all three sessions or choose to attend one or two of the three. Click here to register.
