The venue for the 21st NZAGS conference is the Christchurch Town Hall which after years of earthquake repairs is due to reopen a few weeks prior to our conference. Both exciting events for Christchurch.
The theme for our meeting is ”Technology, Training and Surgery” and covers important topics that vary between core general surgery to surgery in the digital world. The program has been designed both for the practising general surgeon and for our future surgeons.
We have invited an excellent and varied group of speakers covering: technology in surgery, endoscopy, trauma, herniae, and the implications of technology.
Our invited speakers are John O’Hagan (Otakaro Ltd Christchurch), Michael Buist (Australia), Michael Talbot (Australia) and Andrew Luck (Australia). As a change in format Michael Buist will give a key note lecture.
Come, enjoy and learn. Socialise with colleagues and meet out trainees
