Dr Kate Clarke is a medical oncologist with a special interest in gastrointestinal and breast cancers. Dr Clarke is passionate about patient-focussed multidisciplinary care.
Dr Clarke is past president of the New Zealand Society of Oncology and the current chair of the Gastrointestinal Cancers Special Interest Group.
Dr Clarke graduated from Otago Medical School and subsequently trained in Wellington, New Zealand and both University of College London and Mount Vernon Cancer Centres in the United Kingdom.
Dr Clarke returned to New Zealand in 2011 after a sojourn in Hong Kong where she and her husband were joined by their son Luke.
Dr Clarke maintains a busy private and public practice while enjoying the delights of Wellington’s thriving restaurant and brewery scene.
